As young as 9 years of age, Elie Saab started making gowns for his sisters. His passion for dressmaking encouraged him to travel to Paris and study fashion.
At the beginning, his first atelier was based on making bridal couture gowns in which he used expensive fabrics and embroideries such as pearls and crystals.
His first launch was a line of haute couture which over time expanded into ready to wear and accessories.
Overall his collections always reflect modern femininity.
Elie Saab’s ateliers are based in both Paris and Beirut filled with craftsmen producing his masterpieces.
